Be Patient with my blog as it is a work in progress for the next few days. I have a header I like and a blinkie. So now I need to completer the rest of the template. I am learning PS5 as I do this so it may take a few days. Happy Crafting ~~Misty

It's an 80s BLOG HOP

Lets BLOG HOP for some fun 80's style!!!!!!!!!!!!

This hop will last a week for everyone to get a chance to check out the cool blogs and try for fun prizes.

So My project is a cool journal book. I used a kit that comes with a spine, two covers, and the inside pages bound together. You have to cover it and then put the book together. I LOVE red tape here. It holds super awesome, like dude!!! LOL OK so I was really young in the 80's. I covered it with Die Cuts With a View paper in bright colors. Then I used Hannah Montana and Indie Art for the decorations. The R is inspired by something but I don't want to give away the surprise. :)

So onto the part I know you want to hear about: the giveaway!!!!!!

Well the giveaway is another Lite Cartridge. How cool is that. Some lucky winner will get a lite cartridge of their choice. Plus I will send the winner a Journal kit from PaperGami.

The challenge: Come up with something about the 80's you remember the most. The hard part, let's do this like you did in grade school. Don't repeat what has already been said. Let's here all the cool memories of the 80's!!!!!!!!!

Here is the list of blogs that are playing along. Be sure to check them all out. You may find fun giveaways at some of these as well.

What I remember most about the 80's... Jelly shoes! I wanted them soooooo bad but my mom never let me have any. I would have taken any color! She said they would hurt my feet! My good friend on the bus would bring me an extra pair of hers to wear almost everyday one spring! Funny the things we did... Thanks for the hop and the memories!

Awesome journal! I remember sitting next to my boom box- which was not nearly big enough, lol- and listening to the Casey Kasem Top 40 Countdown every week...and recording my favorite songs onto a cassette! It was so exciting to hear what was going to be the top song for the week! Remembering this really makes me appreciate my iPod!

well this is easy. I was in grade school in the 80s. I begged my mom for a perm when I was in the 3rd grade. I got one alright, but from then on everybody called me Michael Jackson because of the tight curls...It looked like I had a jeri curl...I was the only white girl with hair like that. I wish I had a picture to show you. On second thought, maybe I don't
