The Inspired Retreat

Sunday Linda and I went to the Inspired Retreat's all day Resolution crop. Boy did we have a blast. We played with piecings and made a few layouts. Well I made a few layouts. I got 5 done. 2 2page layouts and 3 one page layouts. One is made from paper I won as a door prize. I also won the layout contest and got a free 15 minute massage. We had a BLAST. We were fed Lunch and Dinner. I even bought a cocktail.

Also I saw this Sizzix die that I just LOVED. But I had just sent in an order and it was not on sale. So I decided to see if I could make one. This is my take on that flourish with the hearts. I made this file to use with SCAL.

Here is a layout I made earlier but just added the photo. I LOVE IT. So simply but just perfect. Also this is my Stampin Up haul from a class I went to with my friend Linda. I bought 5 sets of those heart treat cups LOL. Hey they were only 2.95 a set.

Outside of my box tonight

So I decided to do a layout that was outside what I usually do. I had these great pictures of Lexi that I needed to scrap. I love the baby pics. Also I am working on a book for Jackson to keep in his room of all the wonderful things he has done this year so far. Kindergarten is big and I want him to have his own keepsake book.

Ok Here we go more details.

I like this now. I titled it My Friend and will fill it with pictures of my daughter and her friend Orion.
